Oct 3, 2025

2026 is gearing up to be the year of firsts for many automotive brands. From the arrival of the new Chevy Corvette ZR1X to a fully electric lineup for Audi, we thought we’d seen it all…

Well, think again.

A phoenix has risen from the ashes of adventure’s past as Stellantis announces the all-new Jeep Cherokee for late 2025. After being discontinued in 2023, the Cherokee returns for 2026 with a few enhancements and upgrades.

The Future of Adventure Lies Under the Hood

The 2026 Jeep Cherokee SUV is not treading lightly into the spotlight–it’s commandeering it.

The Cherokee is the first-ever hybrid vehicle to take the Jeep name, and its power is leaving no stone unturned. The new 1.6-liter turbo-four hybrid engine is expected to deliver up to 37 combined mpg with a total driving range of 500 miles, leaving more room for adventure and less time at the pump.

The I4 Turbo Hybrid engine is designed to deliver a maximum of 210 horsepower and is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds — that’s best-in-class power, performance, and incredible capability.

The 2026 Jeep Cherokee Redesign: More Tech, More Peace of Mind

Confidence in your vehicle goes beyond a reliable engine—it’s the peace of mind that comes from your interior technology.

One of the boldest changes on the 2026 Cherokee is the 12.3-inch touchscreen. Paired with the latest Uconnect infotainment system, you can easily access a variety of apps, entertainment features, and vehicle information. Combined with a 10.25-inch Digital Cluster Display, this new era for the SUV proves that utility can be both functional and visually appealing.

Other notable highlights for the Jeep Cherokee’s tech upgrades include:

  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Available digital rearview mirror
  • Wireless charging pad
  • 260 Surround view camera
  • Remote start system

Technology is more than just being able to connect our phones to play our favorite music or navigate to a new local restaurant–it’s about ensuring our safety with every turn we take. Equipped with over 140 safety and security features, from Drowsy Driver Detection to Intersection Collision Assist, the Cherokee delivers peace of mind every time you get behind the wheel.

How Much Will the New Jeep Cherokee for Sale Cost?
