When the special-edition X package debuted for the 2025 RAM 1500, many wondered how the new package could build on a 10-year formula that made the light-duty pickup a household name.

The answer? A few appearance tweaks and the arrival of Rough Road Cruise Control.

Let’s take a look at what to expect with the return of the RAM Rebel X package in 2026, and when you can plan to get your RAM 1500 outfitted with an upgrade!

Back By Popular Demand

The Rebel X quickly became a fan favorite upon its 2025 debut, thanks to its added comfort, performance features, and exclusive off-road technology. Brought together in a value-driven package that gave drivers more for less, the question was not a matter of “if” it would return to the automotive scene, but “when.”

Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, NA Marketing and Retail Strategy, Tim Kuniskis, was quickly made aware that there was only one course of action as the new year began: a resounding return.

“The Rebel X was a customer favorite last year, so we’re bringing it back for more,” he said in a release. “Rebel X hits the sweet spot of advanced tech, interior comfort, and true off-road capability, all in an aggressive-looking package backed by America’s best full-size truck and van limited powertrain warranty.”

Here’s What You Can Expect from the 2026 RAM Rebel X

The RAM 1500 Rebel X is offered as an upgrade for the RAM 1500 Rebel equipped with the Level 2 Equipment Group and 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo inline-six engine.

When upgraded, the RAM Rebel x for sale will include the following features:

  • Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
  • Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters
  • Premium leather or vinyl bucket seats with red accent stitching
  • Rebel X bedside graphics
  • “Rebel X” center console badge encased in glass with red accents
  • Black 18-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires

What truly sets this package apart, however, is a feature you won’t find anywhere else in the lineup: Rough Road Cruise Control.

Rough Road Cruise Control utilizes adaptive speed control and adjustable steering weight to help maintain your speed on off-road adventures. With this system in place, you can focus on wheel placement and obstacles rather than the number on your speedometer.

And if the exterior elements and Rebel X-exclusive Rough Road Cruise Control didn’t sway you, the 2026 RAM 1500 Rebel X for sale will also be launching a new color option inspired by military green: Tank Clear-Coat.

The RAM Rebel X price will start at $71,930*.
