July 4, 2026, will mark 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was signed, and while some Americans will celebrate the occasion with fireworks and cookouts, we’ve got something bigger in store to express our patriotism.
Say hello to the Dodge Durango GT A250, or America250, Special Edition.
Patriotism on a Grand Scale–A Closer Look at the 2026 Durango GT A250
Produced in partnership with America250, the nonpartisan organization created by Congress to commemorate America’s 250 years since signing the Declaration of Independence, the Durango GT A250 is patriotism on wheels.
The three-row mid-size SUV will offer several exterior paint colors, including classic shades we’ve come to associate with the United States: red, white, and blue. The body color options will include:
- Red Oxide
- White Knuckle
- Night Moves (dark blue)
- Destroyer Gray
- Diamond Black
Afraid your White Knuckle exterior paint color won’t scream “patriotism?” Don’t worry! Those who opt for that particular color scheme will receive an exclusive set of star-pattern stripes with blue tracer accents.
American Flag decals will lie over the America250 badge on the front fenders, while a final America250 badge will rest comfortably on the tailgate.
Speaking of comfort, the inside of the 2026 Dodge Durango GT for sale is subtle in its independence and patriotic influence.
The interior features refined Black Laguna leather with blue perforations, providing the perfect backdrop for the Demonic Red seatbelts, red-and-white accent stitching, American flag embossed front seats, and red-white-and-blue tricolor stitching on the steering wheel.
Power, Performance, and Patriotism
Under the hood of the Durango GT A250, performance and patriotism collide to create two engines worthy of fireworks and prestige.
You’ll be able to choose between the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. The former delivers a steady 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, while the 2026 Dodge Durango GT HEMI will produce an impressive 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque.
Both engines will only be available with all-wheel-drive configurations.
The GT Plus V6 model starts at $51,585, while the V8 HEMI Plus and HEMI Premium will start at $53,265 and $56,265, respectively.
