Modern drivers appreciate nothing more than saving money, particularly at the pump. As gas prices continue to fluctuate and rise, fuel efficiency is even more of a priority when shopping for new vehicles.
Luckily, Stellantis has a few fuel-efficient automobiles in its lineup to help you save at the pump. Ranging from versatile minivans like the Chrysler Pacifica to capable off-roaders like the Jeep Cherokee, you can save without sacrifice.
Keep reading as we explore some of our most fuel-efficient cars!
2026 Chrysler Pacifica
Whether you’re planning big or small adventures, the new Chrysler Pacifica proves it has what it takes to make every journey memorable–and sustainable.
Under the hood of this legendary minivan is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces 287 horsepower. Paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, the Pacifica is a powerful road companion.
But we’re here to talk about its fuel efficiency.
The EPA estimates the Pacifica’s fuel economy at 19 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 22 mpg combined. Delivering a total range of 418 miles on a full tank, the Pacifica may be considered one of the best fuel-efficient minivans on the market.
The 2026 Chrysler Pacifica starts at $44,445.
2026 Chrysler Voyager
Spacious, affordable, functional–what more could you ask for in a minivan?
The 2026 Chrysler Voyager is the frugal sibling of the Pacifica, prioritizing function over frills to deliver a budget-friendly alternative for the working-class family.
Under the hood, it’s difficult to tell the Voyager and the Pacifica apart. They’re equipped with the same 3.6-liter V6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission, making the two minivans essentially identical.
Their identical DNA transcends from the engine into its fuel economy, delivering the same EPA estimates of 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and a combined 22 mpg.
With a starting MSRP of $41,395, the Chrysler Voyager offers the practicality of the Pacifica with fewer bells and whistles when it comes to design.
2026 Jeep Cherokee
Jeep isn’t a brand we think of when we’re looking for fuel economy, but the new 2026 Jeep Cherokee is determined to change that.
After saying goodbye in 2023, we thought we would never hear the name “Jeep Cherokee” again. However, a surprise return as a hybrid vehicle in 2026 has us itching to see what this new era has to offer.
The five-passenger SUV delivers thirty percent more cargo space behind the second row, along with the model’s first-ever hybrid powertrain. The hybrid powertrain is a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder gas engine paired with two electric motors, capable of delivering a combined total output of 210 horsepower and 230 lb-ft of torque.
But what we are really excited about is the Cherokee’s fuel economy, and we have one word: wow.
The EPA estimates the 2026 Cherokee hybrid will deliver 39 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and a combined 37 mpg. With numbers like that, you may never have to set foot near the gas station again.
(Well, not really, but you get the idea).
The 2026 Jeep Cherokee will start at an affordable $35,000.

The 2026 Jeep Compass
If you thought the Jeep Cherokee was the only standout for fuel-efficient cars in the Jeep lineup, think again.
The 2026 Jeep Compass is a classic when it comes to Jeep styling and off-road capability, providing best-in-class horsepower, torque, and maximum towing capacity. However, amidst the spectrum of exterior paint colors and off-road technology lies a fuel economy you can’t ignore.
The EPA rates the Compass at 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, with a combined 26 mpg. However, it’s worth mentioning that when Car and Driver conducted its real-world 75 mph highway test, the Compass delivered an incredible 35 mpg–beating the EPA estimate by 4 mpg.
At a budget-friendly price starting at $29,355, the 2026 Jeep Compass tackles the streets and trails with ease and efficiency.
The 2026 RAM 1500
There’s no question that the RAM 1500 was built to tackle the toughest jobs, but was it built for fuel efficiency?
We say yes.
It’s available with three powertrains, each more powerful than the last. The base V6 engine works in unison with a 48-volt hybrid system to produce 305 horsepower–but that’s only the beginning. Next in line is the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, making 395 horsepower to mark its return to the lineup. Finally, for drivers that need a bit more power, the Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six is a force of nature, making either 420 or 540 horsepower!
The EPA estimates the new 2026 RAM 1500’s fuel economy at 20 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined–pretty impressive results for a pickup truck of this caliber.
Starting at $42,025, this truck is proving that RAM is built tough–with the efficiency to match.
